Our Story

Our sweet Clark Memphis was taken far too soon from us on December 2nd 2024. He was 2 days shy of being 4 months old. He was loved by so many. Clark loved to be with his mama and daddy. He loved bath time every night with his daddy. He loved all the snuggles in the whole wide world. He loved his mama to read his favorite book and nursing him. He loved people singing “you’re my sunshine” to him. He loved standing up and you saying “so big” in his mirror. He loved when you talked to him. He loved rocking on the front porch. Mostly, he loved everyone around him.

Though Clark was here for four short months, he left an unforgettable legacy of love, countless precious memories, and inspiration that will forever change our lives. He was our guiding light, our ray of sunshine, our little dude, our world, and everything in between.

When Clark passed, my husband and I were lost, unsure of how we could possibly make it through such a devastating time. All we knew was that we were a mama and daddy, but we had no baby to hold. We suddenly found ourselves members of a club no one ever wants to join—a club of bereaved parents. Each morning, we’d wake up and question whether it was all just a nightmare, wishing with all our hearts that it was, but sadly, we were living that nightmare, day after day.

The pain we’ve endured has been unimaginable, a weight so heavy it feels as though it’s with us every moment. It’s overwhelming and relentless, a constant companion in our daily lives. But through all of it, we’ve found something remarkable within ourselves—strength. Strength we never knew we had, but that has grown with each passing day. It’s empowering, lifting us up when we thought we couldn’t stand. We carry this strength with us now, and with it, we have so much to offer—more than we ever believed possible.

We began envisioning a powerful journey from pain to purpose. A purpose that would uplift parents, who have just lost their precious baby, to rise above their grief. A purpose that would have a profoundly positive impact, one that would bring some sort of peace and comfort after the loss of the precious life they had brought into the world.

That’s when Clark Memphis Foundation came to life. In our darkest moments, we knew we had to do it—for Clark. To carry his light forward, to share the love he gave us, and to create something meaningful in his honor. It’s our way of making sure that his short time with us continues to inspire, heal, and help others who are walking through their own pain. This foundation is for him, our precious boy—our everything.

Comfort Box

A little bit of comfort from Clark’s Mama—from one mama’s heart to another. This box is my way of sharing a little bit of comfort, love, and understanding during a time that feels impossible. I hope it brings mamas even a small moment of peace and reminds them that they are not alone in this journey.

Donate Today

Through a series of community-driven events, including raffles, bingo nights, and other fundraisers, the Clark Memphis Foundation aims to raise essential funds that will provide financial assistance to grieving families. Funds will be used to alleviate the financial burdens of funeral expenses and to create comfort boxes, offering both comfort and support during an incredibly difficult time.
